• The Wallingford Wishing Well ("WWW") is a non-profit organization (registered with the state as a 501c) incorporated since 1990.

• WWW is a charitable organization, which helps the needy, sick, or underprivileged children in the town of Wallingford (infant to age 18).

• WWW members are people from all walks of life (doctors, lawyers, secretaries, students, mechanics, contractors, etc.) who donate their time, effort, and resources to the organization and to the children of Wallingford.

• All WWW members are volunteers, there are no exceptions.

• WWW children are referred to our organization through churches, schools, and other local organizations such as Big Brother/Big Sister, the Y.M.C.A., other outside organizations, and by word of mouth.

• All WWW resources are obtained through services provided by its members and fund raisers.  Many Wallingford businesses donate cash, services, and products.

• WWW donates 100% of all proceeds to help needy, sick, and underprivileged children of Wallingford.

What We Do And Have Done

• Purchase and install a backyard play-gym for a child to use as physical therapy.

• Donate food and cook benefits to raise money and offset medical expenses for families of critically ill children.

• Work with area schools and staff to provide necessary amenities for children whose families cannot afford them.

• Work with local area social workers to provide food, clothing, and Christmas toys to children in hardship families.

• Provide Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter dinner for hungry children and their families.

• Purchase coats, shoes, and winter boots for needy children.

• Volunteer our Thanksgiving morning and work the concession stand at the annual town football game allowing parents to enjoy the game with their sons and daughters.

• Volunteer our time and services to cook at picnics and barbecues for the Wallingford Little League.

The Wallingford Wishing Well conducts several fundraisers throughout the year, but our most successful events are a  Game dinner in February and the Celebration of Wallingford.  All contributions and/or donations are greatly appreciated.  The Wallingford Wishing Well and the children of Wallingford thank you in advance for your generosity.
